- Started working for Packing & Seals, Inc., a small family business established in 1975 specializing in fluid sealing devices.
- 1978
- Began designing, modifying and adapting mechanical seals.
- 1979
- Started developing customized inventory control systems for large processing plants.
- Member of the ASTM committee to standardize the mechanical seals of the United States Navy (through 2005).
- 1987
- Guest lectured on pump sealing applications at the UCLA School of Engineering.
Personal
- Born in Glendale, California in 1946.
- Served in the United States Navy, including a tour in Vietnam from 1965 through 1968.
- Happily married since 1971, father to two grown children and grandfather to a granddaughter and grandson.
- Actively involved in his church, teaching the Bible and discipling while serving as a deacon and elder for the past twenty-one years.
- Studied Biblical languages for three years.
- As part-time staff at the Master's Seminary, taught classes on discipleship from 1999 through 2001.
- Outside of his work at Packing & Seals, Inc. and service at the church, David enjoys remodeling his home in the Northwest and playing golf and pool.
